Mazie's Method

So, since I am in my third trimester in my most favorite time of the year, I figured I would share some of my most favorite maternity goodies with you on my blog.  I did some internet shopping damage since I will be wearing these clothes in the 4th trimester also while nursing and going back to work.

I have some super fantastic maternity jeans from Old Navy and they are rocking the party right with being able to wear them after I give birth to my princess sometime between October and November.  They are very comfy, stretch, and have a full panel to make things easier when I pull them up over my rapidly expanding belly!

Next, are some wrap tops that I found on Gap and they are in such a beautiful plum color that I couldn’t pass them up.  I need them since I plan on nursing and or pumping and I will need easy access to the ladies, they are no longer considered girls in my book

Obviously I am going to need some dresses because we all know that I will be throwing on my Spanx tights and my wrap dresses and knee high boots to make myself look and feel better. This denim shirt dress makes me giggle.  I love denim dresses.  It’s a way to be casual and fabulous all at once and the buttons down the front are perfect for my needs!

I am loving some new dresses that INC has for the end of Summer/Fall.  These are some dresses that I am thinking of trying for some upcoming events that I have coming up.

First is a Lace Bandage Dresss.  I am not a big fan of horizontal stripes, but I tried this dress on and it actually looks adorable with a baby belly.

I thought I looked like a pregnant table cloth when I tried this on, but it was hubby approved.  Love the lace tank dress!  With a cute belt and flower and some adorable shoes, I think it will totally rock.

For a wedding I have to go to, I saw this dress with Sheer Overlay on someone at a local restaurant and it was gorgeous!  I went and tried it on and it is so cute over the belly.  I have room to grow because the wedding is in October, if I even am able to go, but it is a great dress to have.  I have a booked calendar this year and since I have a way to grow, I need a bigger wardrobe.  Not that that is ever a problem

Heidi Klum, or as we know her from the modeling world, The Body, has been pregnant more than once.  This lady knows how to put together a maternity collection.  I was in Motherhood the other day, and saw a few pieces from this pretty collection called Loved.  I have to tell you, I was skeptical at first.  I didn’t think their clothes were going to fit me.  But then my friend said to me, check the XL, and lo and behold, it fit.  I got a few pieces.  The crocheted back dress, a tank dress a tie-dye skirt that I am dye-ing *lol* over, a tie-dye tunic, and some tank tops.  Heidi’s collection also included leggings, some denim bermuda shorts and some dressier styles for the office.  If you are expecting and you are a size from 0-18, you can definitely get yourself some adorable clothing on sale now at Motherhood.
