Mazie's Method

So, every once in a while I need to kvetch about some fashion no no that I see.  In a conference today, I saw this lovely girl wearing some dark jeans, a rugby striped boyfriend sweater, some funky jewelry and a cute t-shirt.  It was all fine until I saw her headband.  There, I think is where it all went wrong.  I completely agree with headbands.  I find them lovely, when used in context, however when added to an outfit that already makes a statement, I veto.  Upon further investigation, there were some large and in charge earrings and  the hair was put up in a bit of a french twist with a barrette.  I am confused.  Someone please intervene.

I am thinking we should have a little contest.  I saw this beautiful feather headband and instantly fell in love!.  Feathers are all the rage this holiday season!!!   I so heart this headband, it is beautiful!  When my hair is straight, I could totally rock this to a party, I have so many for the holidays, or a wedding, cocktail party, shower or just with jeans!  It is so beautiful with the special little rhinestone accent!  I cannot get enough of this sweetie!  What do you all think…
