Fringe Benefits

2009.10.23

Fringe BootsSo I was speaking to my fabulous sister-in-law the other day, who happens to work in fashion, and she was talking to me about fringe.  I have to say that I did and do buy into the fringe detail in some knee high boots that I got from Torrid.com.  They are a bit Pocahontas, a bit Minnetonka, but very warm and comfy, so they will stay in the closet.

As far as the other areas of fringe go, I only accept fringe on certain areas.  Bags, not so much.  Vests, if you are a cowgirl, and on quivers if you have taken up archery.  You can fringe me a scarf, fringe me a shawl, some sexy lashes and so on.  I have a particular Marina Rinaldi dress that has a fringed hem and I cannot wait to wear it.  Part flapper, part LBD, it may finally make its debut this December.

I leave you with this.. fringe at your own risk!
