Fall is on it’s way and I.  Really.  Cannot. Wait!!!  The heat this summer is not as fun as usual because of my delicate condition.  I long for fall and cardigans and boots and jeans.  That is my uniform from Fall to Spring.  The weight of the materials change, but always, boots, jeans and sweaters.  This year may be a bit different, but as far as I have come along while pregnant, I am trying to stick with my style.  I would like to keep my look going into the fall before and after I deliver.  I was checking out Piperlime and Nordstrom and Zappos and the fall boots are making me insane!  I love so many styles and a lot of them have flat heels which is perfect for a klutz like me who will have an infant in tow!

Mia Limited Edition Deputy booties are making me drool.  I love the neutral color that will transition with most of my closet.  I may have to invest in these for the fall.

Nine West Theophila ankle boots in a gorgeous wine color may be my super favorite.  I know I don’t normally wear heels, but these may have to be the exception to the rule.  Even if they just hang out in the closet and make an appearance once in a while, at this price, they are so worth it!

Roxy Hamlet are adorable.  I love that they have a second layer and look like they are folded over.  They would be perfect with leggings or tights and a skirt.  I cannot imagine these being any cuter in the Pearl color!

Some trends come and go and some trends stay put.  I am thinking that skinny jean trend is one that will stick around.  One thing that anyone who is wearing them needs to know is that there are several ways to wear skinny jeans.  My favorite way to wear them is with tunics and boots.  I will also throw on a slouchy sweater and a scarf.

I went through my favorite websites and looked for some awesome skinny jeans.  Here is a pair from Calvin Klein that are like jeggings.  They make me smile!  These skinnies from Lane Bryant make me feel like I am ten again!  I *love* them, and I am thinking of getting them.  Dereon puts some beautiful jeans in Macy’s.  I think these are a good buy!  Gap always provides a good show, even if they only go up to a size 20.  These jeans have some spandex in them and they may work with some awesome accessories!  If you want black wash skinny jeans, Old Navy has the answer!  I would check these out if I were you and you want to rock out the destructed look!  The blue destructed look comes from Target.

I don’t know about you all, but it’s been a *lil* chilly here lately.  One thing that I always wear to death at this time of year is my Uggs.  Many people think that ‘Ugg’ is short for Ugly.  I could care less what they look like at this point, they keep my chilly paws toasty.  I am a fan of Uggs and have been since my Sister-In-Law got me hooked oh so many years ago.  I put them on at the first chill and keep them on until I am ready to switch to flip-flops.  The only time I do not wear my Uggs is when I am going to hit the mall.  I can’t mall-walk in them because they keep me too toasty and I get crabby.  Need to be a bit on the chill side to fight for a good bargain.  I digress…

So I have looked around for some cute Uggs and some Ugg-alternatives if you do not want to give into the Ugg crazy.  It’s ok… you can make a trend, you do not have to follow it.

Nordstrom, Zappos, Bloomies all carry Uggs.  Sometimes you can get some deals and I love when Nordstrom has the pre-season trunk show and you can pre-order.  The only problem with that is it usually falls in July or August when the tan line is on my foot because I am still shuffling around in my Swarovski Flip Flops.

If you think Uggs are too common and you want to be more of a Celebu-tante, check out Australia Luxe Collective.  Bloomies, Endless and Singer22 also carries them.  They are very pretty and twice the price of Uggs.

On par with Uggs is another brand from Australia is Love From Australia.  They are on sale on Bluefly.  My only gripe with them is that they run very small.  I take a 9 and I would have to get a 10.  Not happy about that since in Uggs, I take an 8.

Bearpaw is another brand that is really hitting the trend radar lately.  Everyone is talking about them and they are super cute.  You can find them at Endless, Zappos, DSW, and Overstock on sale!!!

North Face has some beautiful snow boots, but I know they will not fit my supple calf…Shoebuy and Zappos also have great selections of North Face.

Sorel looks like they have some sweet warm boots.  I wouldn’t mind stuffing my paws in them.  Nordstrom has them also…I am secretly obsessed with these Joan of Arctic boots from Amazon.  I don’t know what to make of them.  They are kind of cute.

So there are some fabulous options.  I would definitely not direct you in anyway to a shoe that will not keep you toasty!  Share your favorite boots with me!
