Mazie's Method

Let’s talk Sparkle!  It’s November 1.  We are running full speed into fall which means it’s time for my two favorite things … the holidays and accessories!!!  Lately, I was thinking that sequins don’t have the connotation that they used to have.  When I look at someone wearing sequins, I see the light reflecting off of the small circles to make their skin glow.  It adds luminescence to any scene!

I used to only bring my sequins out for the holidays and special occasions but recently, I have been sporting them for every day events and bringing them into full rotation.  I will be truthful, people stare, but I couldn’t care less!  Here are some of my favorite accessories, with sparkle, for the fall!

Hats

Here is a beautiful handmade hat that I found on my favorite handmade website.. Etsy.com.  I LOVE this hat.  I think it is so beautiful and definitely something that can be worn every day or for a special occasion! Etsy

Here is another hat that is wonderful for those of us who have a lot of hair! Etsy I am digging this hat so much because it is a beautiful every day hat and also it is super fun!  It is in a beautiful neutral color and would go with just about anything!

There may not be a sequin on this beauty, but a pearl will bring out the beauty in anyone’s skin!  This beautiful beanie is something to behold.  I love and adore it.  I would snag it in ivory or pink, whatever makes you smile

Scarves

This scarf is a beautiful addition to your fall/winter accessory wardrobe.  I picture this beautiful scarf with some slouchy wide legged pants, a white man tailored shirt, a soft cardi vest and this scarf.  Etsy It is so beautiful that it can be used as a necklace!  What a beautiful option to be worn with so many outfits!

What a perfect night out scarf.  I think this scarf is so beautiful and elegant that it can spice up any little black dress.  Etsy I love the color of this scarf.  It is a color for all seasons.  I completely appreciate the beauty of this scarf and hope you do also!

Gloves

These are definitely some fancy revisited vintage gloves. Etsy I love the sequin wrist and added little sparkle on the ring finger.  I think that they are fun and completely delightful for the next few months worth of parties!

These mittens are perfectly sweet with their pattern of sequin and the beautiful aqua color for the winter.  I am a fan of mittens for making snowball and the impending snowball fight afterward!  They are so adorable!!!  Etsy

Hair Accessories

For those of us who are very into headbands for the holidays, or any day, this is a beautiful headband that will be center of your outfit.  So many times I plan an outfit around an accessory, and this headband is no exception! Etsy

Two things that are perfect together are sequins and feathers.   Etsy This barrette – clip is going to spice up any black tie hair do.  Imagine having a simple black dress and some beautiful shoes and this perfect hair clip and sway those hips!
