Fall is on it’s way and I.  Really.  Cannot. Wait!!!  The heat this summer is not as fun as usual because of my delicate condition.  I long for fall and cardigans and boots and jeans.  That is my uniform from Fall to Spring.  The weight of the materials change, but always, boots, jeans and sweaters.  This year may be a bit different, but as far as I have come along while pregnant, I am trying to stick with my style.  I would like to keep my look going into the fall before and after I deliver.  I was checking out Piperlime and Nordstrom and Zappos and the fall boots are making me insane!  I love so many styles and a lot of them have flat heels which is perfect for a klutz like me who will have an infant in tow!

Mia Limited Edition Deputy booties are making me drool.  I love the neutral color that will transition with most of my closet.  I may have to invest in these for the fall.

Nine West Theophila ankle boots in a gorgeous wine color may be my super favorite.  I know I don’t normally wear heels, but these may have to be the exception to the rule.  Even if they just hang out in the closet and make an appearance once in a while, at this price, they are so worth it!

Roxy Hamlet are adorable.  I love that they have a second layer and look like they are folded over.  They would be perfect with leggings or tights and a skirt.  I cannot imagine these being any cuter in the Pearl color!

Two things a girly girl needs in her closet are crochet and lace. From an early age, I was lucky enough to be surrounded by lace and embroidery and finery. These things hold a place in my heart that makes me remember my childhood and my grandmother. I always have lace and crocheted items on hand for the Spring and Summer. I like to have them showing sporadically through the Fall and Winter as well. Look through the collection and let me know what your favorites are!

So, my husband asked me out on a date.. I think it is all sort of romantic that after a bunch of years, we are still having date night. It, of course, begs the question, What shall I wear?

I figured since we are going to dinner and a movie, I would let it be a bit casual, but with me, as everyone knows, I like to spice it up. I love to wear jeans and lots of jewelry. (Someone actually commented on my necklace today saying it was so delicate and that normally, I wear big bold jewelry! At least they notice my sass!)
Anyway, I am thinking a sexy tunic, jeans, a jacket and lots of bling! Undoubtedly, I will have flats on because Germann refuses to let me go out in heels … I’m clumsy.. remember! Of course, there will be a big bag on my shoulder because I have to carry all of my goodies as well as his wallet, keys and glasses… So here is something I would put together… I am loving it! Now all I have to do is get all the pieces!
