Limelight

I don’t know about you, but I am probably the only person who never went clubbing at the Limelight.  Shame on me, really.  Living close to one of the legendary clubs in New York and I never shook my tush there.  I digress because this blog is about shopping and style and not dancing!  I am thrilled to get myself over to the new Limelight Marketplace.  There are so many booths and pop-up shops to choose from I cannot decide where I want to start!  I may start out at Havaianas and then hop on over to Old Hollywood.  After that I can hang out by the J Sister’s full service salon and get a pedi!

Anyone want to join me for a shopping trip?

Key to my Heart

2010.02.22

So, once upon a time, Skeleton Keys were also called passkeys.  They were able to open most doors and get by most locks!  They were used in the States until the 1940s.  They slowly fell out of work and then came into fashion.  People gave them as tokens to loved ones, to show affection and were able to collect them.  They were worn by the Gothic, the Victorians and Steampunk followers.  I have been using keys in my jewelry designs forever, and they are lots of fun to work with. I have tons of fun collecting them and showcasing them in Mazie Rose Designs.

Here is a collection that I put together.  I hope you can find the key to my heart!

Black Label

2010.02.09

Anna DressUsually when a designer puts out two labels for their line, it means one is higher end than the other.  I happened upon the Anna Scholz website today and saw such information.  Oh!  My!  Goodness!  I am a lover of Anna.  Truly.  I wish I was Anna Wintour sometimes so I could expense my entire wardrobe.  Alas I am not.  I covet and obsess over most of the new labels, both Black and White from Ms. Scholz.  Take a peek at them here…

The Crochet Black Strap Top… I die…

The Poppy Dress…cute, comfy and cotton…

The Tiger Dress… ROAR!

Handkerchief Dress…Sexy and Beautiful.

I rest my case…
